How To Express Gratitude

Gratitude is the ultimate state of receivership.

When you’re able to not only give thanks for the things that you DO have in your life,

but also for the things that you wish to manifest, you become a magnet to your dream life.

But how does it all work exactly… What’s the best way to slip into a state of gratitude?

Here are 3 fun and powerful tips to help you do just that :)

Tip 1: Start a gratitude journal ~

This is a little book that purely contains daily statements of the things you appreciate. There's no wrong or right way to do it, you simply write a quick little statement about something you're thankful for each day.

Consistency is the key and it's an incredibly powerful little tool to pull out when you're feeling down or under the weather. If you have children or live with close friends, you could even start one for the household. I promise this will put a smile on your face every single day :)

Tip 2: Make a gratitude visit or write a letter of thanks ~There has to be at least one person in your life that has helped you, or others around you, out… Someone who may not always get the thanks they deserve but who has done something you really appreciate. You know who I’m talking about, right?

Write them a letter of appreciation and tell them how grateful you are to have them in your life. Say thanks for the thing they've helped you with or the things they continue to do for you OR even better yet, make a gratitude visit and do it in person.

Tip 3: Take a gratitude walk ~ This is an amazing exercise to center and balance yourself. You basically take a walk for 5, 10 or even 20 minutes and you dedicate 100% of that time to gratitude.

You consciously think of all the things you appreciate in your life right now and realize how lucky you are to have the life you have.

So what are you waiting for? Try out 1 or all of these tips today and see how wonderful it leaves you feeling :)

The Value Of Curiosity

Hello my friends.

Do you know the value of your curiosity?

Do you realise the cost you are paying today for your lack of curiosity?

Fortunately I KNOW the value of mine... The value of mine is priceless!

A few years ago, my curiosity cost me well over 10,000 dollars and right now I'm looking at that like it was the bargain of the century...

It cost me over $10,000 but the value I got in return is incomprehensible!

Do you realise your curiosity could well lead you to the most rewarding life possible?

It could lead you to the love of your life, or it could make you rich beyond your wildest dreams.

However, most people use their curiosity for entertainment of valueless things.

Which are good for entertainment, but are useless and even destructive for delivering them their life purpose or the fortune they may seek.

If you don't know the value or the cost of your curiosity then the chances are it's costing you a fortune!

...And you may not ever get to know it...

. . . Imagine that . . .

you're probably costing yourself a fortune

right now

My curiosity ended up with me losing over $10,000. But what I discovered is going to be worth to me a 100 times that during my lifetime and beyond… And that doesn't include the value it'll bring to those my curiosity ended up helping.

Without being curious I would've spent years just doing more of the same and never discovering the mountain of diamonds I actually already had.

All my curiosity did was take me on a journey which made me recognise something I had which was priceless. But if I had not been curious then I never would've found it.

To date my curiosity has meant at least 14 people have not committed suicide. At least 10 people have found their life purpose. They were just a tiny few of the things my curiosity has delivered and those numbers are just a fraction of what's actually happened.

The question to consider today is...

"What is my lack of curiosity costing me?"

If you would love to change people's lives and would love to help people then you must discover your purpose.

To do so you need to become curious about it and snap out of the day to day living which numbs the brain.

I can comfortably say if I had not been curious then it would've ended up costing me at least 100 million.

Learn again to follow your dreams and get curious about something.

I guarantee you that your curiosity or lack of it will make or cost you a priceless amount.

When you recognise the truth of this, then you can allow yourself to be curious again like you were as a child.

This is you, allowing your subconscious mind to lead your Mind into the greatest secrets you are unconsciously searching and longing for…

People are always telling me that I think big and they are blown away by what I do and achieve,

but the secret is to just get curious and not let reality and logic suppress your curiosity.

…I am an unreasonable man, and I have become one through curiosity.

My curiosity finds answers and allows me to simplify things so that people can change and make progress.

Your curiosity can change the world too, if you allow it to breathe.

Have a Terrific Thursday,

Best wishes,

How Teachable Are You?

When it comes to learning a new skill or developing new habits you have to be teachable. In this post I would like to explain to you what the Teachability Index is and how you can apply it now for results.

Teachability Index

The Teachability Index consist of two questions.

1) On A scale of one to Ten what is you willingness to Learn?

If you want to Learn something new or develop your skills further the best thing to do is learn from someone who has what you want and came from where you are.

How willing are you to accept what they know to be true? If they are achieving the results that you want listen to the advise given.

The more willing you are to Accept the teachings the quicker you learn. Which brings us to

2) What is Your Willingness To Accept Change on a scale of 1 to 10?

Progressing further and breaking through barriers you are going to develop new habits to reinforce your New Success.

When your willing to accept change even before you fully understand, you'll be suprised at what you accomplish as you accept change.

That is basically it for the Teachability Index. This is implied but necessary to inforce.

3) What is your willingness to Take Massive Action n a scale of 1 to 10?

Willing to Learn and Willing to accept change is key but if your not willing to put forth effort, The more The better, you will see little to no results.

Start taking Change Seriously

Are you willing to do whatever it takes Right Now to achieve your Desires?

If so continue reading . . . .

Right Now you have the oppurtunity to take what you just learned and apply it for results in your life.

A Video Poem So Good It Had To Be Transcribed.

Look Up by Gary Turk

I have 422 friends yet I am lonely
I speak to all of them everyday yet none of them really know me
The problem I have sits in the space in-between
Looking into their eyes or at a name on a screen

I took a step back and opened my eyes
I looked round and realised
This media we call social is anything but
when we open our computers and it’s our doors we shut

All this technology we have it’s just an illusion
Community, companionship, a sense of inclusion
When you step away from this device of delusion
You awaken to see a world of confusion

A world where we’re slaves to the technology we mastered
Where information gets sold by some rich, greedy bastard
A world of self-interest, self-image, self-promotion
Where we all share our best bits but leave out the emotion

We’re at our most happy with an experience we share
But is it the same if no one is there?
Be there for your friends and they’ll be there too
But no one will be if a group message will do

We edit and exaggerate, crave adulation
We pretend not to notice the social isolation
We put our words into order till our lives are glistening
We don’t even know if anyone is listening

Being alone isn’t the problem let me just emphasise
If you read a book, paint a picture, or do some exercise
You’re being productive and present not reserved and reclused
You’re being awake and attentive and putting your time to good use

So when you’re in public and you start to feel alone
Put your hands behind your head, step away from the phone
You don’t need to stare at your menu or at your contact list
Just talk to one another, learn to co-exist

I can’t stand to hear the silence of a busy commuter train
When no one wants to talk for the fear of looking insane
We’re becoming unsocial, it no longer satisfies
To engage with one another and look into someone’s eyes.

We’re surrounded by children who since they were born
Have watched us living like robots and think it’s the norm
It’s not very likely you’ll make world’s greatest Dad
If you can’t entertain a child without using an iPad

When I was a child I’d never be home
I’d be out with my friends, on our bikes we’d roam
I’d wear holes in my trainers and graze up my knees
Or build our own clubhouse high up in the trees

Now the park is so quiet it gives me a chill
See no children outside and the swings hanging still
There’s no skipping, no hopscotch, no church and no steeple
We’re a generation of idiots, smart phones and dumb people

So look up from your phone, shut down the display
Take in your surroundings, make the most of today
Just one real connection is all it can take
To show you the difference that being there can make

Be there in the moment as she gives you the look
That you remember forever as when love overtook
The time she first held your hand or first kissed your lips
The time you first disagreed but still loved her to bits

The time you don’t have to tell hundreds of what you’ve just done
Because you want to share this moment with just this one.
The time you sell your computer so you can buy a ring
For the girl of your dreams who is now the real thing

The time you want to start a family and the moment when
You first hold your little girl and get to fall in love again
The time she keeps you up at nights and all you want is rest
And the time you wipe away the tears as your baby flees the nest

The time your baby girl returns with a boy for you to hold
And the time he calls you Grandad and makes you feel real old
The time you take in all you’ve made when you’re giving life attention
And how you’re real glad you didn’t waste it by looking down at some invention

The time you hold your wife’s hand, sit down beside her bed.
You tell her that you love her, lay a kiss upon her head.
She then whispers to you quietly as her heart gives a final beat
That she’s lucky she got stopped by that lost boy in the street

But none of these times ever happened. You never had any of this
When you’re too busy looking down, you don’t see the chances you miss

So look up from your phones, shut down those displays
We have a finite existence, a set number of days
Don’t waste your life getting caught in the net
because when the end comes, nothing’s worse than regret

I am guilty too of being part of this machine
this digital world we are heard but not seen
where we type as we talk and read as we chat
where we spend hours together without making eye-contact

So don’t give in to a life where you follow the hype
Give people your love, don’t give them your “like”
Disconnect from the need to be heard and defined
Go out into the world, leave distractions behind

Look up from your phone, shut down the display
Stop watching this video, live life the real way.

What Now?

Wow That was powerful. When you sit back and realize

how farther and farther we grow apart by overusing the unsocial media

you can't help but wonder what's next.

You Are Your Strenghts

We feel emotions

See our present

and remember our past.

Your past is what drives your present.

Don't let it be a liability.

LET IT BE YOUR BIGGEST ASSET

Read an article a truely inspirational man wrote

what does this mean to you?

Your Story Is Your Strength

One day, after the world tried to tell me my past was my biggest liability, I showed them it was my greatest asset. And since that day, I’ve pushed all the limits, and broke all the rules. I’ve talked about things people say should stay “hush, hush”. I’ve confronted demons from my past and stood in the face of ridicule. And I’ve overcome the fear of judgement to step out on faith and reach down deep inside to tap into something I didn’t know was there. Courage.

Actually, here at Empower Network – we’ve all reached down deep inside in one way or another to discover something great about ourselves we didn’t know was there.

Tell your story my friend. Hold your head up high. And celebrate your past — good and ‘bad’ — while realizing your perfectly imperfect, and the world needs to hear what you have to say. Someone, somewhere, is dying (maybe even literally) to hear what you have to say, and it will change their life when you share with them who you really are, how you really feel, and what you’ve overcome — so they can realize they’re right where they need to be in their life and in their business.

Check out this video and in the comments below tell us who you are and how you’re impacting people, or how you plan on impacting people with your experience and your story.
